About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world and become the first Salvadoran filmmaker to win Cannes

ABOUT ME

I am a Salvadorean visual designer and filmmaker based in France, fluent in English and my native language is Spanish. I also have an intermediate level of Korean.

I studied my bachelor in Korea, worked there for 2 years and now I'm living in the north of France

I love traveling, I can't get enough of it. I have a serious case of wanderlust.

PHILOSOPHY

If at the end of the day, without exception we will all have the same fate, there is no point in not trying to fulfill and accomplish our wildest dreams in this life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had the pleasure of meeting couch surfers hosted by my best friends in Seoul. And have hosted many myself. I've met people from CS during my travels and had a great time with them.
And I love meeting people with such different personalities, background and cultures.

Interests

I am passionate about art and science, I love everything related to film, design, music (sadly not a musician myself but I overcompensate that by supporting local artists), psychology and sociology.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Cinema, not much of a reader but a complete cinephile
Some of my favorite filmmakers are:
John Cassavetes
Orson Welles
Xavier Dolan
Carlos Reygadas
Paolo Sorrentino
Matteo Garrone
Abbas Kiarostami
Nuri Bilge Ceylan
Michael Haneke
Dardene Brothers
Shohei Imamura
Hirokazu Koreeda
Park Chang-muk

I love all kinds of music, from Classic rock, heavy metal, Orchestral Rock, Punk, Ska, Electronic, Jazz, Classical Music, Salsa, you name it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Besides deciding to leave home and come to Korea by myself to study.:

Traveled through Cambodia and Nothern Thailand by myself for three weeks.

I swam with Whale sharks in Oslob, Cebu.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always up for a late night film, I have almost 1,000 movies to choose from.
We can share music taste, I'm always open to any kind of genre and I love sharing music.
