I previously worked in the oil and computer industries.

Often working abroad, I gained a love of travel and foreign cultures. I like sport, photography and reading.

When I was in the oil industry I occasionally stayed in posh hotels, but apart from their comfort, they have minimal interest to me. I prefer hostels, home-stays and more personal places.

I've done a lot of hitch-hiking, and so I am familiar meeting strangers. It's invariably more interesting than sitting on a bus or train. My attitude is to accept that everyone is different, and not to expect anything other than mutual respect.
