ABOUT ME

I am Pedro, born in Lisbon but raised in Porto. I Love sunny days altough i'm always looking for a shaddow.

I love being with my friends. I love cooking and gastronomy, i also love to take care of my garden.

I do like to sleep or just doing not much, but that is just part of me loving the "Dolce Fare Niente", the other part of me loves action, sports, walking, and above all, im trully mad about travelling.

My list of hobbies includes Drawing, Cooking (give me a Kitchen and I'm close to Happiness), walking arround town, biking, gardening, writting (you will see me often with a pen and papper arround me).
I write (in portuguese) and i've published poetry and short stories. Music is another passion, my cd collections it's like a treasure to me.
Other major interests are History, Politics, having a Beer or Wine with friends, Looking for Books in old Book Stores, Poetry, Speaking and learning foreign languages, playing games (pc, board, playstation, open air, you name it! I like to play).
I also like Dogs, old cities (walls and castles fascinate me), forests, green fields and majestic mountains, the ocean and river, I love to swim though I dont like to go to the beach.
I love to teach and to learn, to share, share and share...
Love Sports, love to meet new people, new experiences and discover new cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

A mix of romantism with hedonism sprinkled with lots of racionalism; an enormous respect for history and the past, although my eyes are looking towards the future.

I defend that we should let our heads go asnd roam free up above the clouds, but we must always keep at least one foot on the ground.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some people that visited Porto and showed the city around. I stayed with some of those friends when I visited them later in Poland. I met people while traveling in England, Romania and Israel. I also showed my town to visitors.
