I'm an Australian, born and bred. I've recently finished school and after starting university realised I had signed myself up for something I did not want to do. I left and worked for six months to go travelling with my closest friend. He introduced me to Couchsurfing and his way of travelling (he does a lot of hitch hiking and sleeping in temples). I'm quite new to travelling and Couchsurfing especially but I'm ready and excited to give it a go!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to make friends all around the world and help out other travellers like myself. I also want to see what the outside world looks like from the perspective of the locals and form friendships that will hopefully last a lifetime. At the same time I also want to save money, because why not?

Interests

I love art, mostly post modern. During school I become interested in modern history - particularly the Cold War and Soviet history. I also adore animals (cats birds dogs and anything big or small) and know a lot about medical practices with both animals and people.

I am currently learning Polish. While in high school I learnt French and Japanese. Languages are very interesting to me and I am always happy to teach and learn from everyone. Food and cooking are my passion as well, I love to learn traditional recipes and cook for my friends and family. Sharing food and stories is the best way to speak and learn.
