Hi there. My name is Hop and currently living in Hanoi, Vietnam. I worked as tour guide in North Vietnam for nearly two years and stared my start up as tour operator company (Mercury Travel - mercurytravel.com.vn) for nearly two year.

I love helping people traveling in Vietnam, giving tips and travel guide to everybody. Vietnam is very beautiful and I want all the travelers have great experiences in Vietnam. I believe my tourism knowledge will help you some how in your trip.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found Couch Surfing few years ago and immediately get intrigued by Couchsurfer's stories. I know that many travelers will need a lot of help in Vietnam and I am more than happy to help.

I don't know how to explain but I feel very happy when I can help people and hang out with new friends. I am also very graceful with my English that was inspired and built by my foreigner friends. Therefore, travel tips and info are the least thing I can help you with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being good at English is the best thing I've done. I got first price in English competition for non-major English students (I studied telecommunication and electronic as my major).

Being brave to follow my dream is another thing i am proud of. I denied many good job offers (work as military officer, lecturer in Uni, engineer for telecommunication company) to open my travel company. My biggest dream is helping everybody in the world travel at easy and having wonderful time traveling.

I'm learning French and love to learn Korean or Italian.
