One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most incredible thing I ever did was take a hike for one week into the jungle with a group of people I didn't know and a great guide, we left from the city of Flores in northern Guatemala and took a bus to a village, where we walked out from. From there we walked to the ancient, and almost undiscovered ruined Mayan city of El Mirador. We slept on one of the pyramids there, four guys, huddled together on one carpet hoping that scorpions wouldn't find us a nice place to sleep close to. We also climbed the biggest pyramid there, in fact, the biggest pyramid in the entire Mayan world, a whole 78 meters tall. It was truly mindblowing, a journey of a lifetime.
