ABOUT ME
I spend my days witnessing the miracles human beings are capable of cultivating- love, forgiveness, acceptance, growth, change. I know that may sound over-the-top, but my job is truly very touching.
I grew up in a beautiful town on Lake Michigan, temporarily lost my soul to Detroit while in graduate school, and have lived in San Francisco for the last two years. I'm into Zen, and am starting a 10 month immersion program in October. Aside from that, I just try to live easy, have a lot of fun, travel when I can, and love on my friends and family.
I'm doing a Pacific Northwest trip in September- Portland, Seattle, San Juan Islands, and Vancouver.
PHILOSOPHY
Be kind and meet all things with compassion.
We have something to learn from every person we encounter.
We are all connected. Everything is infinite.
Dance, dance, baybay.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think CS is more than about finding a place to stay. It's about finding people who share a lust for travel, experience and life itself.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started hosting while living in Detroit, then surfed for two months in Puerto Rico, I showed travelers around my hometown, and recently I've met some lovelies in SF. I am so grateful. Every experience has broadened my perspective.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I swear I experience amazing things all the time. San Francisco is a really neat city. Experiencing Big Sur and a bioluminescent bay in Puerto Rico was pretty darn magical too.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy cooking and would be happy to cook you a delicious meal! I've been a vegetarian for almost 10 years and I know how to be creative in the kitchen. I eat a variety of foods and have veggie-tized many cuisines.
I'm a philosophical being, haha. I like having conversations of substance. I also like acquiring knowledge, so I know a bit about a variety of topics. Right now, I'd like to learn more about physics so if that's your bag, dazzle me with the wonders of the universe.
