About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience life and meet wonderful people.

ABOUT ME

I recently quit my job of being in charge of billing for a small medical company. As a hobby, I'm currently working towards preserving the legacy of local musicians. I research their careers, conduct interviews with them (or their families if they have passed away), and write articles about them that are published in the local newspaper. I also just bought a button diatonic accordion and am learning to play old school conjunto standards. After I feel comfortable in conjunto style, I also want to learn Cajun, Zydeco and Vallenato (Columbian) style accordion.

I really like watching a wide variety of films. I spent most of my youth watching foreign cinema, independent cinema, classic American cinema, and silent films.

I also enjoy sports like MMA, submission grappling, boxing, kickboxing, billiards, and American football.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some things that Esteban Jordan has done on his diatonic button accordion have left me awestruck.

Also, certain moments in the films of Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger have also left me in awe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to introduce people to things I am passionate about. I am very enthusiastic about esoteric music, obscure films, and niche entertainment forms.

I would love for people to tell me what matters to them in life and what they are deeply fascinated by.
