Hey there! I'm Phavan and am currently in Montreal for an exchange program. I enjoy travelling alone and meeting new people as I go. Ever since 2012, I made it a personal goal to travel to at least one city or country and I've never looked back since.

Photography and writing seem to help me unwind just as much as a nice cup of hot chai does. 🌿

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a student hence, the obvious reasons would be to save money while I travel. Besides that, I find that the sole purpose of travelling is to meet new people and exchange insightful conversations and lasting memories and this is easier done with couchsurfing.

Mexican food advocate, but can't really go to far from my Punjabi roots.

Music, Movies, and Books

I make it a point to read at least fifty books a year. I find myself enjoying books that cover Indian history, political theories and some fiction from South Asian authors.

I absolutely love music. From classical Indian music to rock to jazz, all of which takes me on a journey on its own.
