About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To do as much dancing around the PNW as possible

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty light-hearted individual. I really enjoy learning and figuring things out. Nearly a year ago I got into dancing, and now I'd like to visit lots of other city's dance scenes.I studied math and physics as UNLV and am quite mathematically inclined, but also have a creative edge I'd like to draw out more.  I've been trying to teach myself the keyboard lately but have quite a ways to go.I'm completely and strictly gluten free which has been a bit of a hassle, but totally worth it.  I'm nowhere near vegitarian though, I like my meat, but prefer sushi :DFeel free to ask if you want to know anything else, I'm pretty open and will answer anything.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. Anyone should be allowed to do anything they so choose as long as they aren't bothering anyone else.  I'm a fairly liberal person, strongly believe people should help people and a strong social net.  I've been told some of my deeper philisophical beliefs are in line with Schopenhaur, and after looking him it it does appear to be accurate!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just getting involved, so I've yet to see.  Hopefully I'll get the chance to let some cool people stay here and get to stay with some cool people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a friend who had many different couchsurfing guests over at his place all the time.  They were interesting and it seemed like a fun thing to do.  I'd like to try that out when I get the chance.I've stayed at friends of friends places for a few days here and there in other cities and it worked out well.  I get along with most people and enjoy meeting new ones all the time so figure it's the best way to go traveling!

Interests

Dancing has really become a large part of my life this last year, and I plan on keeping it that way.  I consider myself a swing dancer though I also love blues and can dance wcs alright.Dancing's also gotten me in great shape so I can do other fun things like hiking and biking.  As a programmer I'm also interested in computers and tech and can figure most electronics out.  I also have a huge anime collection, but it's been collecting dust for ages now, the outdoors is much more inviting!

Music, Movies, and Books

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Good Will Hunting, Pan's Labyrinth, Pi, Brazil, Gattaca, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited the grand canyon! That was quite a while ago though.  I really want to build this up and get to seeing and doing more amazing things!

Teach, Learn, Share

Onions remove rust.I love showing beginers the basics of any of the dances I know.  I also am pretty handy with computers and can fix most issues and setup networks.  After remodeling my house myself I've found I'm really good at fixing things.
