Exploring wild Alaska! I'm currently Sailing from sitka to prince Williams sound. Then gonna go to Denali and Seward.

ABOUT ME

I LOVE nature and wildlifes, yoga, and food. I grew up in the big city of Beijing but I just love to stay in the jungle. After 6 month living in the Northern range of Trinidad, I see mountains when I close my eyes. Since then I found myself would never want to go back to city life. Just came back from Borneo but left my heart in the forest.

PHILOSOPHY

I studied biology because I was trying to understand the meaning of life by observing how animals and plants live in mother nature. Then I got a conclusion that life doesn't have any purposes, it is simple a result of survival. And I was afraid that we are just the tools of the genes...how scary! After spending 6 month living in the forest in Trinidad, my world view sort of changed. Now I believe that we are more than just carriers of genes, we are part of the big whole!
I started practice yoga seriously since last November and it has changed my life and world view greatly.

While hosting in Beijing, I had great times talking and walk around the city with my CSers. I learned something new from each person I met.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped off a sea cliff with my roommate at the south point, Hawaii. I don't remember how I did it but I remembered that my butt really hurts...
I started to dance when I was 23 years old when everybody else started at age 3. But I made it to the school musical, as a leading dancer. I still dream about dancing on stage years after!
Lived in a camp in the rain forest with no water or electricity, eating wild plant.
Grow cocoa trees and made delicious dark chocolate from tree to bar!

Teach, Learn, Share

Story sharing about my trips to the forests all over the world. Cooking meals etc. I believe all CSers have their special traveling stories to tell, my story is also unique since I spend lot of times studying wildlife in the forests all over the world.
