ABOUT ME

Hello All, I am originally from Sechelt, BC, Canada. Sechelt is a small town of 8500 people near Vancouver. I like to travel; I have been all over Canada, the USA, Mexico, Brazil, Cuba, Vietnam, Thailand, China, Hong Kong & Macau. Despite what most people think, Hong Kong is a separate country at least in my opinion due to the fact that everyone who enters (including Chinese People) needs a special Visitors Visa; also it is an "International" Flight & International Phone call from China. Well, I can communicate in English & French and can also speak & understand a little of Chinese (Mandarin) & Portuguese. So I am looking forward to hearing from you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I Host & I Surf. I have hosted in Canada and China when I was living there. I have surfed where & when possible. I also am an enthusiastic member of the Vancouver Group and attend as many events as possible including the weekly meets at the Brickhouse along with BBQ, ETC.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have Surfed all over where ever I travel, also I love to meet CSers from around the world when I travel along when they are passing through my City.

General I like to travel, I have been all over Canada, the USA, Mexico, Brazil, Cuba, Vietnam, Thailand, China (lived their for four years) and Hong Kong. Despite what most people think, Hong Kong is a separate country at least in my opinion due to the fact that everyone who enters (including Chinese People) needs a special Visitors Visa. If you know me, you will know I also collect DVDs, I currently have about 3500 and it keeps building every month. I am also really into History &; Geography.

Music I am a big fan of "Modern Rock." a prime example of my music tastes are played on two different radio stations out of Southern BC. If you go to these websites you can have a listen for yourself. www.thepeak.fm &; www.thezone.fm Enjoy.

Movies DVDs... I currently have around 3500 and it keeps building ever month. I like all types, but mostly I love a good Comedy.
Television Really into shows like 24, The Shield, ER &; Prison Break. Also love Family Guy, Simpson &; Pinky and the Brain. As I am currently in China, I can only get certain TV Shows, so my TV Sense really is not there anymore.

Books I like books that make you think about things, for example: "No Logo" Also I like books that tell true stories about real people. I am currently reading "River town" about an English Teacher in China.
