ABOUT ME

a bit crrrazy moose-loving married couple. love spending evenings on our tiny bacony sipping tea, coffee or wine...
We're working or studying quite a lot, but if there's an evening off we like staying in, watch films or read books. We're not really party animals but enjoy good fun every now and again :)
We're interested in languages and foreign cultures.
We love meeting new people and talking, but we're not into really big crowds. We like wandering about the city, feeling the atmosphere of the place, understanding it better...

PHILOSOPHY

trying to stop worrying about tomorrow and letting go.
declutter and simplify.
breathe in and hold. smile.
be open to others.
restore trust in and among people. even if it sounds naive ;)

We're only beginning - but we think it's great to open your house to other people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much yet - we've been hosting CS-ers since September 2010 and usually once a month someone knocks on our door. So far we've hosted 10 people.
We've also surfed couches in the UK and France.
And outside the programme: there's been a number of other memorable couches :)

Filip's a bit of a computer geek and Anna's crazy about new teaching techniques for young children :)
Every now and again we take up a new kind of hobby or get hyped up about something. While dating we met halfway in a small town whose name translates as Moose Town. From that moment on we've gone slightly crazy about moose ;) We spent our honeymoon in Biebrza National Park (Poland) and saw a moose for real. Now we want to go to Sweden and Norway :)
We like taking photographs and dream of the moment when we could devote some more time to it.
We read quite a lot and are a bit mad about buying books. Especially in English :)
Filip likes discovering new music groups, even quite eccentric ones (Anna's not that into it but stays open to new flavours of sound ;)).
Filip's an open source and Linux convert ;) but doesn't lose his temper with Windows believers ;).
And we both love notebooks, notepads and other stationery accessoires ;) Yes, we know, it's probably treatable and we've been consulting a specialist ;)
Filip's just taken up running and Anna's a yoga practioner (although not very regular).
If there's something interesting, we'll probably get hooked...
