ABOUT ME

I've been living in Ghent for + - 7 years and spend the rest of my lifetime in Antwerp, so I know my way around in both cities quite good! Don't ask me about historical facts though :)

Anytime possible I try to travel to a different place with some friends, seen mostly european countries but in summer 2010 seen Mexico and in februari 2012 I did a first solotrip to Morocco wich was an awesome experience. I'm looking forward to do more trips to different continents.

I try not to be to much of a tourist... The traveler sees what he sees, the tourist sees what he has come to see!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I once hosted 2 guys I met while working on a vineyard in France when they where travelling through Europe. Good times! They introduced me to the concept and since then i've been on CS. I already had a couple of surfers come by and always had lot's of fun and really enjoyed showing them around in the city, so only good experiences thus far! Besides hosting I've been couchsurfing in London and Morocco and also had similar good experiences.

Interests

Anything involving a board (with or without wheels), wind, water, concrete or snow!

/music:/ ARTists that create for the love of music and not for money, could be anything that sounds good and original to me but mostly jazz, funk, reggae, hiphop, some house, brazilian music... artists like A Tribe Called quest, Theo parrish, 4hero, Madlib, Baden powell, linval thompson, Coltrane & Davis, Jackie mittoo, Grand Green, The pharcyde, Curtis mayfield, Cymande, Mos Def, Tony allen, Antibalas, Floating Points etc etc

/Books:/ I like a good book now and then, currently reading 'the world book of happiness' and some surfing literature.
