About Me
Currently: bicycling to the cheapest airport in Europe (CPH) from Spain, foraging fruits along the way.
My mom is a dietitian living in Florida. She grew up on a farm in the Midwest chasing fireflies. She likes good wine, thunderstorms, and fart jokes.
My dad is a failed entrepreneur living in Tennessee. When I was in high school, he helped me practice lacrosse even though he needs a walking stick. He likes photography, travel, and being a dad.
I live in Madrid where I eat bananas and read picture books to children. I share an apartment with my girlfriend Sherie. For work, she sits on a bright, fuzzy carpet in a circle with little kids to sing songs. (We are teachers.)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a good conversation, a place to sleep, a sense of humanity. There are many cliches said about couchsurfing, how hospitality opens the heart and broadens the mind, and they're all totally true.
Interests
I carried a goat named Lexi across a farm, through fig trees and grape vineyards, and that was pretty interesting. I guess you can say I'm interested in daily exercise, sustainability, and mindfulness. Here is an old-fashioned list to give you a better idea: food, music, books, travel, nature, design, circular/shared economies, education.
