Music:
I love a wide variety of music! My favorite genres include pop, alternative, rock, rap, r&b, and electronic. My current favorite artists include:
-Passion Pit, Bon Iver, Jay- Z, Kanye West, Drake, Young the Giant, Kygo, Diplo, Cage the Elephant, The Black Keys, Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Misterwives, and many more!
I am always open to discovering new music, so please show me your favorite artists too :)
Movies:
I love action, romantic comedies, and thrillers most. I'm always down for a superhero movie and any movie with Leo DiCaprio :) My favorite directors include: Martin Scorsese, Alfred Hitchcock, and Steven Spielberg
Books:
My favorite books have to do with culture and social justice, specifically novels about American slavery and American Indians. Books I've read recently include: Fahrenheit 451, 1984, Beloved, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Their Eyes Were Watching God, Black Elk Speaks, and Belfast Diaries. I always have a book with me when I'm traveling. Ask me what I'm reading! I always love suggestions :)

When I was 15, I had the chance to live in Istanbul, Turkey for a semester. This experience is what sparked my love for traveling and learning about new cultures!

I would love to share my stories and experiences with you. I am also looking forward to learning local languages and slang, as well as hidden gems I wouldn't normally find. I am also always down to engage in civil discourse; I'm passionate about politics (both American and global), as well as many social justice issues. I am a strong supporter of LGBT rights and #BlackLivesMatter
