I'm a divorced Dad of two amazing kids, Jin Shin Jyutsu® practitioner, NY Lic. Massage Therapist, and Office Manager at ARD German TV in NYC.

I grew up in Switzerland and became a ballet dancer, then moved to NYC to pursue my dance career in 1989.

But now I'm too old for ballet ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel - who doesn't - and experience and learn from other cultures. And I have found that nothing beats the chance to see a place through the eyes of a local. And even though I usually don't really have the time to show this amazing city to a guest, I am happy to help with a place to stay if I can.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm used to living alone (my roommate is frequently gone and we keep to ourselves) and am pretty busy, so I can't really be a tour guide. I also am not a very good cook, but you're welcome to use my (basic) kitchen with gas stove, fridge, and microwave.

I am open and friendly, and love to learn about other cultures and languages, but staying with me is best suited for independent folks.
