ABOUT ME

We traveled the world for 2 years (2009 to 2011) with backpacks and eyes wide open!
That's how we discovered couchsurfing, leaving with locals and expats, learning much more locals customs and what is generosity and hospitality !

Our wedding, 2 weeks before our leaving was a way to say goodbye and to enjoy people we love.
After this travel, we know, we can love internationaly, and find some new family members all around the world !!!

I've always known that to succeed in life, one must look crazy but be wise...
(sadly, this is not from me, but from Montesquieu, crazy guy !)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We discovered couchsurfing during our travel. First, slowly in Japan... OK... looks good. Then we kept on in China... mmmm... better and better... Later, in SE Asia... we are really fan !

We followed in South America. It can't be better !!!!!!

When we meet friendly people we never miss to share this information with them : Couchsurfing exists !!!!! Come with us ! ^^
And the community increases ! Good job ! ^^

Edit : Just come back home... not leaving in our own flat, it's just posible to meet people, have a drink and a good chat !
Soon (we hope...) we'll be able to host !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've been hosted more than 20 times till now. Almost everytime we left the house very sad... it's always sad to leave a friend.

I LOVE Proust. Then, my other favorites are Haruki Murakami, John Irving, Dominique Lapierre... I got a period Stephen King but I kept then a cowardice...
Philippe's fan of Zola. We could speak a lot about them. Our dream, to have a room specially dedicated to books and reading... maybe one day...
In each country we try to read about it. Try to get some advices from people we meet, and so...

About Music, I love the Beatles, Tryo, La rue Kétanou, Ghinzu, JJ Goldman, D Balavoine, Queen, Aretha Franklin...
To Philippe : electronic music mostly, and english pop, Marvin Gaye, Alpha Blondy.

But about films, I don't know why but my memory doesn't record titles... I let Philippe answer for us...

Becoming doctor in medicine 2 days before our wedding and then leave France 2 weeks later for a world trip!

Get my diving license even if I don't really like swimming...

We love to learn languages. Improve english, spanish, japanese and chinese !!!
In exchange we can teach some french... some medicine... and... some good jokes.
