About Me

CURRENT MISSION

cruising around NZ for a few months, work a bit but nothing too strenuous

ABOUT ME

ive been travelling on and off for the last 2 and a bit years and had a ball, unfortunately work has intefered with my travelling a bit as of late but i've managed to nip that in the bud and here i am in New Zealand!!

PHILOSOPHY

question everything........Why??
you never know if you never try.
politics can ruin a country but it cant ruin good people.
its better to make a mistake and learn from it than to never try things

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i have only just joined up, i heard about this thru a cupla mates who surfed couches in Europe and the UK, and they said they had a ball and met some awesome people, it sounds like a great way to see places as a bit of local knowledge goes a long way!! when i am back home i will definitely have a couch available!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

zero as yet but hoping to change that soon!!
only the brilliant stories i've heard of from mates

Interests

travel (obviously) music and fun, love the ocean and anything that involves escaping the daily grind.....looking to find a job or career that i can really enjoy so am willing to try just about anything.
love a beer and a good time, but this is not my full time hobby!!

  • festivals
  • beer
  • politics
  • traveling
  • music

Music, Movies, and Books

love any good music, love dub/reggae, blues and roots, punk and ska, rock, jazz and blues pretty much anything
recently read marching powder by rusty young.....brilliant book

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

watched 6-7 year old jockeys race bareback 27 miles across the mongolian steppes for the naadaam festival and watched in amazement as a tiny kid bought his brothers riderless horse in too, amazing stuff

Teach, Learn, Share

i believe good things happen to good people and bad things happen to bad people, but sometimes you just get shat on and there's no reason right now, eventually it will become apparent why
