About Me
CURRENT MISSION
今日は! Trying to leave a mark for a better world while enjoying everything life has to offer
ABOUT ME
Many things happened in my life between January 2007 and 2009 and many of those events allowed me to get on a 4 months trip between February and June 2009. I was in Nepal for 2 months, doing volunteer work, teaching environmental awareness to teenagers until April. I then went to Japan until mid-May, went to Bangkok in Thailand for a week and finished my trip in Krabi then Koh Phi Phi.
After working for 6 years at the same job, I've reached a point when I asked myself what the hell I was doing with my own life, working sometimes almost mindlessly.
Right now, I could say that I'm enjoying or learning from everything life is giving to me and I'm pretty happy about it!
As of December 2010, I just came back from Japan to meet some friends! But now really miss Japan and Japanese culture... T_T
PHILOSOPHY
I think every human being should try to leave a positive mark on this planet that will benefit future generations.
So many people on Earth live their life thinking only of themselves and their own good... it's depressing!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We did receive couch surfers at some point in our flat and that was a positive experience as a whole. I also had my first CouchSurfing experience in Japan and it was really nice! Hope I can try that again!
Interests
I'm interested mainly into listening and playing a bit of music (and also go in music shows), discovering food, science and even some politics. I also have interests for movies, video games, some books and some sports.
Something I also like very much is discussing with open-minded people about nothing and everything.

Music, Movies, and Books
Here is a sample of my favorite bands: Muse, Radiohead, Thrice, Rise Against, Millencolin, Dream Theater, Avenged Sevenfold, Iron Maiden, Coldplay and some Québécois bands: Malajube, Mes Aïeux, Vulgaires Machins, Capitaine Révolte, Les Cowboys Fringants, Xavier Caféïne...
As for movies, I've recently saw Slumdog Millionnaire which I really liked. My other classics are Forest Gump, The Green Mile, Saving Private Ryan, and some french or Québécois movies: Le dîner de con, Amelie (which is really called "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain"), Maurice Richard...
The last two books I've read are Un Petit Pas pour l'Homme and Mal Élevé from Stéphane Dompierre.
As for series, I'm not a big TV watcher but I was into Heroes and Naruto and nowadays from time to time, One Piece.
