I am a young, fairly newly married guy who lives in Bristol - a cool and vibrant city. I love art, music,football (both American and our kind) and epic fantasy books. My wife is from the States but has lived here for many years. I love to cook, my favorite foods are generally spicy and often Indian. I enjoy trying new food, especially in new countries. Also Beer! Beer is pretty important to me. My favorite is US - style IPA's and I love exploring the broad craft beer scene in Bristol. I work with a Christian charity that hopes to bring positive change to the area we live in.

I have traveled to most continents of the world and I think my country count is up to 16!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love community and meeting people from different cultures. Whenever we travel our ideal is to spend time with local people, seeing their city the way they do. It helps to see the city properly and engage with the culture in a way you just can't really do staying in hotels or renting somewhere. We also love getting to know people and discovering how they think and feel about life. Couchsurfing is a great site that connects up like minded people who believe the world is a better place when we are generous and kind to one another.

Rock, mainly, of many sorts. Anything from Bloc Party/ Foals to Killswitch Engage . I am currently into Biffy Clyro and also am enjoying many of the classics like Pink Floyd and Led Zepplin. I also like Hip-Hop.

Fav books inc. Wheel of Time, Magician and the Silo series

Movies: Lawless, Gladiator, Monsters, the first time I watched the Matrix and Star wars.
Also... Game of Thrones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I was staying in Honduras and we found a Lagoon near to where we where staying. We borrowed a canoe and paddled the small channels through the mangrove trees with monkeys swinging above. We eventually made our way to a deserted white sand beach with luscious warm water. Truly a paradise.
