Overview
About Me
I'm open-minded, fundamentally interested in the world around me, sometimes thoughtful and perhabs too ironic, sometimes impulsive. I love to have a good talk, as well as to go out with friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been thinking about it some time and some friends of mine have had some marvellous experience. I think it's great to meet with locals as they can give you insights in the country/city that you wouldn't get by following some tourist guide or by straying through the streets alone. I'm planning to travel a lot more the next few years and it seems awesome to make some international friends. Cosmopolitanism ftw!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
My taste in music is pretty diverse. Classic rock (Led Zeppelin, Dire Straits), indie and alternative rock (System Of A Down, Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party), blues rock and stoner rock (love The Black Keys and basically everything Dan Auerbach is involved in, Royal Blood), progressive (Tool, Opeth, Pink Floyd), some electronic music, some jazz (big fan of 30's and 40's swing music), art music (especially romantic), but also some rap and hip-hop (recently discovered Aer, great stuff) and some pretty heavy stuff (used to listen to a lot of death and thrash metal). I'm open for everything and I love to get to know new stuff :).
Movies:
Love thriller and horror, good filmisations, fantasy and scifi. However, I'm not a cineaste. I enjoy TV series like Californication, You're the worst, House of Cards etc.
Books (brief outline, really enjoy reading):
"It" by Stephen King
"The Part and the Hole" by Werner Heisenberg
Harry Potter (shaped my childhood, secretly still waiting for the letter)
"Cloud Atlas" by David Mitchell
"The World According to Garp" by John Irving
...and I really want to get my hands on something by Bukowski.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just came home from an amazing trip to Zurich and I am in love with the city, its people and the Zurich openair. Met some new friends from Australia and Suisse and I'm so keen on visiting them.
Teach, Learn, Share
Could teach some German to English speakers. Would like to learn a new language (at least in bits). I play the e-guitar (intermediate/advanced player, bad in music theory) and I'm always ready for some cozy music session.
Countries I’ve Visited
Croatia, England, Italy, Spain
