What can I say? I have a passion for travel and for trying new things, currently trying to travel a bit in the states whilst working on a Masters thesis.

I love to work with my hands and have a special interest in 3D art and sculpture particularly pottery. I also like/try to be active and enjoy outdoor sports - climbing, kayaking and have just taken up sailing. A novice at best in most of these.

I work in toxicology and poisons especially veterinary poisons and have interests in animals and science. I studied Biology at university and my masters is in public health.

I've been told I'm a friendly warm and adventurous person and I'm hoping to meet similar :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing to get a feel of the place I am living, and I'd love to get to know people in their own town - their stories and lifestyles.

Its also a matter of new experiences and hoping that we both can offer something a little bit new or interesting to each other.

Apart from that its for having fun, meeting new people and not being too serious.

My music taste is broad although sometimes focusing on the shamefully trashy side of things. I tend to be open to all music tastes and love going to concerts even if I do not know the band nor the music.
