About Me

Hey,

my name is Philip and I'm a 21 year old German guy. In Germany I just finished my school in July 2014. After I finished school I worked a bit to earn some money for my trip to Canada and the United States. I arrived at the 11th of March in Vancouver, Canada, with the aim staying a year in North America.

Since now I visited a lot of interesting places, looking forward to see more from Canada and the United States. While that, I wanna get into contact with more and more people.

As I am on a one-year-trip to North America, I am currently unable to host couchsurfers but I'm looking forward to do so when I return to Germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While doing couchsurfing you get the opportunity to get into touch with people all around the place. You have the chance meeting new people and travel around the world. It is also a good chance saving some money on your long and expensive roadtrip all across the world.

Interests

Basically travelling around places. Have not seen to many places in Europe which is sad, but now I'm looking forward to do that in North America. But I've visited mostly every important place in Germany.

Sports is also a big interest in my life. E.g. Soccer, American football, basketball, hockey and more - but specially soccer (German soccer of course :D)

Music, Movies, and Books

music: HipHop, charts, dance, RnB, Urban, Black

movies: lots of movies to think about (thrilling plots), but specially TV - series (Two and a Half men, How I Met your Mother, Lost - specially a lot of comedy)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to an exchange of young teenagers in Latvia, where have been Germans, Russians, Ukrainians and Latvians. We went there with a 36 - hour trip on a ferry. Watching the sunrise on the horizon has been one of the best things i've ever seen. The exchange was awesome - a great adventure and experience to get into touch with people around the world. Now I'm looking for more of that!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a bit of German which is quiet difficult but not that bad. Basics like Good Morning or Hello in German

I really want to improve my English around here in North America, so this might be a great chance while getting into contact with other people
