About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get very, very lost

ABOUT ME

Friendly (but everybody says that, I suppose), I like animals but they don't necessarily like me back. I'm studying Paris right now, and will be until 2016.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't participated yet, still trying to find a way to :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None thus far. Hoping to change that soon. I've sent out loads of requests, haven't got many replies. But I really do think this is a great idea, and I'm not going to let that put me off.

Interests

I play the guitar, like folk rock, and a little poetry (though I'm not very good at writing any). I've been catching up on reading (I'd stopped for a while) and I'm quite interested in Physics.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ok, let's start with music. I mostly into folk rock, and mainly stuff between the 60s and the 80s. My favourite artists are Simon and Garfunkel, Al Stewart, The Eagles, John Denver, Joni Mitchell, The Beatles, Don McLean, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, and most variations thereof :)

I like humour quite a bit, since I find that they're the most unpretentious books. My favourite author is Terry Pratchett, and I've read almost everything he's written. Love most things by Wodehouse, and I personally think Catch 22 is one of the best books ever written. I'm a big fan of George Orwell too: I find him a horribly astute man, and he's put me onto nonfiction. I'm reading Thoreau right now: don't completely agree with him, but that might just be because I don't completely understand him.

Most of the movies I like are from the sixties to the eighties. But then I'm not *too* picky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not much. Which is why I want to couchsurf :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you a little bit about the guitar.
And Physics, of course, though I doubt you'd be interested.
