Overview
About Me
I love petting dogs and cats and goats. Getting my hands dirty in the garden is sublime. I've read a lot in the past, but have lately focused more on doing and less on reading. I want to help my neighbors build a better world and at the same time I'm interested in, and care about the less fortunate around the world.
If it's food related, whether cooking, growing, fermenting, or foraging, I'm interested. I love to be outside, especially on my bike.
PHILOSOPHY
Be a leaver, not a taker. Pet cats and dogs - they like it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Midnight's Children, anything by P.G. Wodehouse, Gabriel García Márquez, George Lakoff, Daniel Quinn, I've read many, many science books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's the little things. The lilacs I smelled this morning were amazing.
But there was that night signing old-time American folk songs with a bunch of Austrians in the Egyptian desert. That was amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a pretty experienced cook and have considered being a personal chef who specializes in health and local foods. I would love to cook for you.
If you don't know how to juggle, I can teach you. I guarantee it.
I just started learning Spanish, so if you can converse with me in Spanish, that'd be groovy.
