Overview
About Me
From the USA, of Ukrainian/Polish ancestry, born in Chicago, raised in Ohio, and living in Turkey since 2012. I studied History and Literature at the University of Cincinnati, and moved to Istanbul after graduating. I teach World Literature at Okan University, and when there's time, travel around Turkey or other countries. I'm always open to listen and learn from other cultures and perspectives, even if I don't understand them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In order to travel the proper way; cheaply and in good company. Also to avoid hotels, the most inhumane place you can sleep.
