About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Having a good time and enjoying my life.

ABOUT ME

Gosh, what's there to say?

I'm 30, blond, 1.73 tall (5'7'') and work as a teacher. It's what I've wanted to do for about 15 years, which probably makes me an optimist and idealist. ;-) Although that's true, I also like that you work with people and change each others lives.
This is also what I like about travelling. You meet people and may it only be for a couple of hours. You might never see them again but your knowing them made a difference in your life.

PHILOSOPHY

Just search for "Wear sunscreen" on youtube and you'll get the gist. ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea, it's so easy and nice. You meet local people that show you what they love about their city. Great!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I'm not travelling, I'll gladly accept guests. I have a guest couch that would allow for a couple.

Interests

I have a variety of interests. I'm the kind of guy who cares about lots of things and tries many things but hardly ever sticks to one.
I've tried tennis, socker, volleyball, swimming, squash, rock climbing, skiing and snowboarding.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I like to be entertained by movies, so basically I watch everything that doesn't bore me or freak me out.

Music: Rock, Pop, Jazz, Classical music and some hip hop.

Books: I love reading and usually do so when on the train. Again, I don't stick to one genre. I read classics, Sci-Fi, mystery novels, Fantasy, Crime novels... in particular Ian Rankin's Inspector Rebus series

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: open a beer bottle with a lighter (or fork etc.); why the 7 deadly sins are neither 7 nor deadly nor sins;
Learn: anything you can teach me
Share: Bread, butter, milk... ;-)

Countries I’ve Visited
