About Me

I'm a 20 years old german who has finished school in the april 2017.

My home is a very small village in the mid of nowhere. Here I know almost all people and all places so I want to see more of the world and I´m very happy that I could break free after finishing my A-Levels and see some more from the world :)

Since I was 18 I spend my holidays in other countries with the result that i was in the last year in the Lebanon, Cyprus and Czech with some friends.

After I finished school I was on a Interrail Trip throug 14 European Countrys.

In my freetime I play football but not very good this point so I have a lot common with my favourit football club. Other sports passions are nearly all ball sports like Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like it to meet new people and to see new places and the contact with new cultures. This apply to many people and almost to all couchsurfers. The concrete reason why I want to try Couchsurfing is that two of my cousins have done this and the gush about this all the time. That it´s the better way of travelling, that you will see much more with couchsurfing and that the people are very nice :)

In the lebanon we was member of a travel group and our tour guide connect us with many lebanon locals. In the conversation with them you learned wide more about the country as when you a "normal" tourist who just looking for things. This is the second reason for couchsurfing :)

I hope that some day I could offer any Couchsurfer my Couch even I don´t expect that someone travel to my home because we are really in the middle of nowhere. Even if we have a beautiful, untouchly nature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That was my Trip to the lebanon and that I spent with a friend one hour in the local prison of Nabatieh because we had photographing Hisbollah Pictures.

Since this moment I know the feeling when you are discharge for a reason you don`t knwo because the police man doesn`t wear an uniform but the clothes looking like a jogging outfit. His gun was very impressive so we decided that´s an good idea to following.

We had to sid in a room and then we wait because our police man seached after anyone in this police station who speacks after English. As he was searching my friend and me concluded that the only "criminal thing" that we could do was photographing and so we extingush all suspicous photos that at the end only boring pictures of houses and landscapes (and cat pictures with my friend) was left on the cameras.

After a very long time for us the police man come back with another young man who explain that to Nabatieh not oft came tourists and that the in hole Nabatieh photgraphing is forbidden because it´s an important center for the Hisbollah. After he locks in our cameras we talk shortly about german football unfortunatily no one in the Lebanon seems to know my favourit football club Schalke.

Back in Germany we talk this story often of parties to show that we are taff guys:" Bytheway have been in prison in the lebanon. "

Another remarkable moment was also in the Lebanon. We visited the offical Hisbollah Museum, that was the surrealest moment of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Schlagt die Bücher auf, denn sie schlagen nicht zurück.
- A german saying -

When you want to teach my thing I swear that I want to try this. Altbeit I´m a bit untalent in manual things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good question...

Maybe I could tell you something about the lebanon or my home or other things from my life.

Or one famous german card game named "Skat". It is really great.
