Hey! My name is Philipp and I am a psychology student from Germany. I`m a social and communicative person, that is interested in meeting new people and have a cultural exchange. Living in Berlin, I have the perfect opportunity to discover different cultures, because the city is a big pot of diverse cultures that you can explore without moving far. Although I have kind of wanderlust and use my spare time to break out and see the world. This started directly after finishing school. Working for one year in an Italian SOS - Children`s Village I personally grew and made valuable experiences. Now I am still volunteering in an organization helping young people do a voluntary year in a foreign country and I give seminars, where they learn about cultural, political and environmental topics. I am very focused on my studies right now and do a lot for good results. Last summer I did research in differential psychology with chimpanzees in Zambia. People often describe me as an open-minded, outgoing and a helping friend, who is kind and cares for the wellbeing of other persons.

Tolerance is very important to me.
No homophobia, discrimination against minor groups of any kind and no hate.

As I discovered Couchsurfing, I was immediately seized by its great concept of people connecting across borders.
I would describe myself as a very passionate person, who is interested in making new experiences and try different things to expand my knowledge and skills. The most amazing thing was my volontary service in Italy. I made so many experiences and I have traveled a lot. I worked with children and I enjoyed every day of it.
