Hi there folks! My name is Philipp and I am a relaxed person who loves to travel new countries and to learn something about the people and cultures there. Also I love to get to know new people from all over the world, having a chat over a glass of beer or wine. Hiking is one my biggest interests, because walking for hours in the nature just really frees my mind. But if the weather is shit, I also like to play cards all day and just chat about life.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I have travelled a lot using AirBnb and staying at friends places in foreign countries. But to really get to know new people in new countries, I now want to explore the world of couchsurfing. I have heard lots of it and had really good experiences with friends. I am pretty new to this concept of travel, but I love the idea and I am convinced to experience unforgettable situations during my future journeys!

Music: Literally any music genre. Favourites are Rage against the machine, Nirvana, Radiohead and Foo Fighters.

Movies: Leon - The Professional; The Big Lebowski; Clockwork Orange

Books: Anything from Douglas Adams; Jo Nesbo and Terry Pratchett.
But depending on how much time I have got, I love to read any book that I can get my hands on.

From August 2016 to September 2016 I spend10 running days on music festivals, travelled some days later to Portugal for one week, came back to Austria to hike 2 3000 meter mountains in two days with my brother and travelled afterwards fo the united arab emirates and oman for one week. Returned from a country with 40°C average temperature with a cold.

I can teach some lectures of molecular biology if anyone is interested. Otherwise can teach the most ridiculous austrian words of the dictionary. Love to learn about anything exciting there is in the world. And i can share lots of my good mood and dance moves!
