About Me
Most of the time I'm an easygoing 20-something guy right after leaving university and starting working, who spends a lot of his time figuring out where his place in this cracy world is. I know a lot of stuff others normally don't know and I use this knowledge always in the wrong moment, so prepare yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Good question. Well, I enjoy meeting new people while traveling, getting to know them and listening to their story while sharing something of my own. And what way is better to get to know people than crashing on their couch?

Music, Movies, and Books
OHHH... I could rant for hours about that topic, so better I keep it short here.
I like books in general and manga in particullar. I read a lot of stuff, always eager to find new manga to enjoy. My List of favorites is quite long, so to keep it short, I name only a few straight out of my head: One Piece, Goodnight Punpun, Battle Angel Alita, Monster, 20th Century Boys, Pluto, Billy Bat, Solanin, Fullmetal Alchemist, My Hero Academia, Shin Angyo Onshi, Made in Abyss, Golden Kamui, Me and the Devil Blues, Yotsuba?!, Silver Spoon...
Bookwise I enjoy Thriller and Crime, Ian Ranking with his Rebus-Series is by far my favorite author, also Steve Berry and John Le Carré. Also, Fantasy (well, LoR, HP and ASoIaF of course) and humorous books are my thing, especially Douglas Adams and The Hitchhikers Guide and the Kangoroo Chronicles by Marc-Uwe Kling.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just one? Okay...
Well, I went on a hiking trip, down in the Fjordland of New Zealand. On the first day the weather was quite nice, sunny, warm, just a beautiful day in the fall. But as things goes, the next day brought rain all day long, and with it a cold harsh wind. So there wasn't any time to enjoy the nature and the beautiful area I came for, sadly. I spent all of my day marching forward, hoping for the next warm hut.
Eventually, I reached it. I sat down on the bench outside, happy I reached my goal and then...
The sky cleared up, the sun came out and illuminated one of the most stunning landscapes I've ever seen. Maybe my favorite moment til today.
Teach, Learn, Share
Okay, so I can teach how to make german food, especially some of the local specialitys like Spätzle and Maultaschen. Maybe you can teach me your favorite food in exchange?
Oh, and I like to trade things with hosts and guest, some small stuff as a personal souvenir.
