I'm 25 years old and live near Munich, Germany. Professionally I've chosen the path of sports business, as I've always been very passionate about sports, especially football. However, especially in recent years, my focus has somewhat shifted towards the other big passion in my life, which is learning and using languages. Back in 2020, when Covid first struck, the trip I had already lined up for South America didn't materialize. Now, having spent a few months in Spain, followed by an entire year in Taiwan, I'm eager to finally make up for this lost opportunity as soon as I finish my master thesis, which is set to happen in late July 2023. Colomba, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Chile are the countries on my list for this summer, as it stands.

If had to neatly describe my view of life, I'd maybe say 'live and let live'. I see things relaxed and try to avoid agonizing about things that I can't change anyway. I've heard a number of times that people almost expect us Germans to get frustrated easily whenever things don't go exactly as planned. Well, let's say I've experience enough that for all the meticulous planning in the world that we're known for, there's always something completely unexpected to possibly screw up everything, so that stereotype doesn't apply to me. This also means that I'm definitely a low maintenance type of guest that won't cause any inconvenience nor demand any special treatment.

I hope that this platform enables me to find what I'm truly looking for.
As of right now, I can't think of anything more appealing than travelling, exploring different places and meeting people.
There's no point in working in order to keep working - there needs to be something worth living for, which in my case turned out to be travelling.

Favourite artist has to be Eminem - his concert in Hannover, Germany two years ago was by far the single most outstanting event I've been to in terms of music/art.

I went to Washington, D.C. in order to participate in the Pokémon VGC World Championships. It was the first time I ever set foot on another continent - the whole procedure of flying there, spending several nights in different guest houses, visiting the city and finally playing the video game tournament was an awesome experience. Looking back at those 9 days fills me with pure nostalgia.

Another very special experience was attending the unique 媽祖繞鏡 in Taiwan - basically a nine-day pilgrimage where the procession finds its way along a series of small villages and temples, setting off a ton of fireworks in the process, closely followed by an entourage of food stalls, religious groups performing their own rites and much more. You may watch some videos on Youtube, words can hardly explain what this event is like!

If there's anything I'm good at, it's dealing with languages. I gladly offer to exchange thoughts in that regard and help you improve your language skills, especially in german.
There are also not that many sports in which I couldn't keep up with the majority.
Next to football I'm capable of handling almost all kinds of rackets (table tennis, badminton, squash, etc.) and balls (basketball, volleyball, etc.).
Generally I'm open for all kinds of conversation and enjoy learning new things.
I'm also a huge dog lover by the way, so living with/taking care of a dog would be pleasure for me ;)
