About Me

after finishing high school in ennepetal, i spent 8 months working and travelling in new zealand. a 2-month-internship at a hospital in cologne inspired me to go to medical school, which is why i ended up moving to berlin in october 2017.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I actually want to meet and spend time with the people living in the country I'm visiting since this is the best (and only way) to really get a feel for the place.

Interests

I have been playing soccer (i.e. real football) for quite a few years and am a fan of the German club FC Schalke 04 (which means that I can handle disappointments quite well by now).
Aside from that, I would consider myself to be pretty open for everything, I enjoy museums just as much as a night out (ok maybe a little less) and want to get to know other people.

Music, Movies, and Books

i mostly listen to what's currently on the radio as well as edm/house.

it's pretty hard to determine my very favourite book, i guess it's a toss-up between "the process" (kafka), 1984 (orwell) and the handmaid's tale (atwood). i usually don't watch tv or many movies for that matter, but i really liked suits and the movie "the lobster".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i stayed at an orphanage in togo, went fishing in a small nutshell in the atlantic ocean and crossed corse by foot

Teach, Learn, Share

after living on my own for 2 years now, i would now consider myself to be able cook lentils and pasta without causing a fire alarm, so i could share that knowledge with you. in all seriousness though, i really enjoy cooking even though I still have a long way to go.

i would also be happy to give you a basic lesson in German, play football or any other sport or just do anything else

What I Can Share with Hosts

fun, a reasonable and clean persom that can teach you about germany
