About Me
"If a man who can't count finds a four leaf clover, is he lucky?" - Charles Bukowski
For the last five years I have lived in Berlin and studied (for the most part) history and Middle Eastern Studies at the university; the city and my urge to travel kept me from obtaining my degree so far... I was in Cairo last year for a semester and currently I travel with my girlfriend through Egypt, Israel, Spain and France...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hosting & Traveling.
I traveled with some friends and with my sister in Eastern Europe. I really liked it. Only good experiences. In the Summer of 2011 I was in Scandinavia, traveling alone with couchsurfing and a tent. It was really great how many nice people I met there. I hosted a couple of volunteers from other cities in Lithuania (when I was in Kaunas). I lived in Berlin for five years and hosted some people. Now I just came to Cairo to start a new chapter in my life...
Interests
I really like history, somehow it gives me a better idea of the background, to have a better understanding how things work. I am interested in outdoor activities and I like sports like cross country and basketball. Besides that I like cooking (might be of interest to you)
