ABOUT ME

Well, well, well... what to say about me.
I am just an ordinary, fun-loving, energetic kiwi girl trying to find my place in the world. I have grown up in Christchurch, NZ the majority of my life and lived in Nelson, NZ for 18 months of that time in 2011-2012. Have seen a fair amount of NZ but have never made it overseas quite yet! I have always been committed to sport (love my netball and lots more) and either studies or a job but have now decided its my time to get out and travel and see the world. I want to see everything!
I love meeting new people, everyone has a story to tell and something to offer the world! I will happily start a conversation with a stranger and am always willing to make new friends.

PHILOSOPHY

To live my life as if today is my last day on earth - to treat others how I would want to be treated, to create the experiences I want in my life, to carry out my dreams, to always be positive no matter what life throws at me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am totally new to Couch Surfing! Exciting! I have not had any personal experience with Couch Surfing but have heard MANY positive stories from close friends about the people they have met and the experiences they have had thanks to CS. Definitely want to get amongst this myself!

Interests

I love music and its ability to connect with people. I constantly surround myself with music and love attending gigs and checking out new and exciting musicians.
I adore beautiful surroundings, a stunning landscape automatically fills me with happiness.
I am always willing to try new things and create new experiences.
I love meeting and spending time with new people, learning what each persons passion is and sharing my passions.
I love laughing - it really is the best medicine.
In general, I really do just love life!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - got to admit I am a classic Romantic Comedy kinda girl, but I do also like a good drama. Love the Notebook, The Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, The Prestige, Good Will Hunting, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Silver linings Playbook, Pitch Perfect, Life of Pi and so many more.
Music - I have a very broad range of music taste but some of my favs to name a few are Passenger, Ed Sheeran, Assembly Required, Mumford and Sons, Fun, Emile Sande.
Books - The Hunger Games series, The Power of One, Nineteen Minutes, Jodi Picoult books in general, The Da Vinci Code etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

9 months ago I shaved off my long hair to raise money for Shave for a Cure (Leukemia and Blood Cancer Foundation NZ) which was an amazing experience.
