I'm 31 years old and currently studying for my Ph.D. in Physics in Hamburg. The topic is microscopy, so if you want to know how to see atoms move, just ask me :). WhiIe I had no kids I enjoyed like traveling with the backpack a lot, then we had a little break when the kids were too young, but last summer we did our first family Couchsurfing trip and it worked great. We usually couch-surf and host through my wife's account (Birge-Dorothea), so all of our references are on her profile down in my friend list.
A long time ago I was a software developer in Manchester, but not much is left from the knowledge of those days :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was a 5-week trip through the Balkans with my then-girlfriend-now-wife Tia. We were pretty much Couchsurfing the whole trip and it was a great experience. The highlight was Couchsurfing with Karel Karavan at the Black sea, sleeping in a tent directly at the beach.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stood on the edge of the deepest gorge in the world! Walked on the paths of Indiana Jones in Petra :). Visited Count Dracula alias Vlad in his Transylvanian Castle.
