About Me

I'm Philippe Alexandre, 21 years old.
I'm studying for a double master diploma with Sciences Po Bordeaux and the Faculty of Economics of the city of Coimbra (FEUC). I'm studying management of cultural projects in France while in Portugal it's international relations.
I'm a fan of music, and always try to discover a bit more of something I didn't know before. I love photography, go to the movies as well as listening for some music (my tastes are quite eclectic, I go from jazz to house music in a sec). People say I'm an easy chatter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel a lot and found out that, along all my trips through Europe, I never had the opportunity to share with locals in a proper way. In another hand, I'd like to meet new people, by any mean possible, so I thought Couchsurfing would be an awesome idea to do it.

Actually I'm longing to travel through eastern Europe to help me discover a bit more a culture I tend to idealize.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a special song, but would name Raul Freixas 'Metamorphose Ambulante' to describe me in the best way possible.
My favorite movie is Polanski's Fearless Vampire Killers.
My favorite book is Froth on the Daydream by Boris Vian

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made a trip through the northwestern coast of Italy with my ex girlfriend. We rode the country with my car and had this only tiny space to live. It was really cool as we were by oursleves in an unknown territory, we were discovering the place while driving and enjoyed it a lot.

What I Can Share with Hosts

What I've learnt, seen, heard, witnessed during my life. I don't think I have such interesting things to say, but I know for sure that a different point of view and different lifestories are the best way to get to know people, discover new things and most of all, discover a bit of yourself.

Belgium, England, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain
