My name is Philippe, I am a french student in tropical agriculture. I live in Montpellier, but I always dream of travel. I am very curious, I want to discover new places, meet new people and learn from other lifestyles. I am not difficult to live with, and I am far from beeing demanding.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I'm travelling, I don't care about touristic places. I want to meet people from other countries as they are, and interract with them. As I said, I am always looking for discovery and authenticity. Thus, Couchsurfing seems to be a perfect opportunity for me. I am looking forward to see who I will have the chance to meet!

Interests

I try to be as open minded as possible. Apart from travelling, I have many interests. I can appreciate museums as well as video games. I enjoy movies, animals, plants, photography, music, and many more things! Anything can be really interesting if we give it a chance. Except accounting, this is just boring.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love music, I listen to many different styles: old school rock, funk, reggae, instrumental electro, or even trip-hop...
Concerning books, I am more interested in philosophy essays or social reflections. Sometimes I read poetry, because deep inside, I have a small fragile heart pounding.
I probably spend too much time watching movies. Sometimes the light of the sun hurts my eyes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know if I am wise enough to bring new knowledge to the people I meet. However, I believe it is always rewarding to talk with people who don't think the same way as we do, when they know how to listen. I want to know how people think, what they love, what they fear, and what drives them. And everyone needs to be listened to sometimes.
If not possible, having fun and get totally wasted in good compagny works perfectly for me too :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

If I come at your place, I am not here to disturb. I am ready to make myself as useful as possible. I can cook, clean, do the dishes... You will soon see that I am pretty easy to live with. All I'm asking is a roof, and eventually an occasion to exchange our thoughts.
