About Me

Hello World! My name is Philippe, many people quickly find out another nickname as it is apparently too long for most people. I'm 22 and studying Computer Science Engineering at the EPFL (Some swiss engineering school) . I normally live in Savigny near Lausanne in Switzerland. I like almost every kind of sport and think of myself as a happy adventurer.I have done my Erasmus in Granada in Spain and I think that it's since then that I always want to do these crazy trips around the world. Speaking with everybody in every language is what I like and I hope to listen to great stories in my future trips!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music? It's part of my life and I'm never without an instrument on my trips. Want to play something together? Let's go!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The biggest adventure I have done was in the Sierra Nevada in Spain. I had my last exam in the morning in Granada and just after it I started to climb from 780m up to 3000m on my bike with a nice temperature of 43 degrees. I actually reached my goal at 8pm but this still wasn't what I wanted to do. I wanted to reach the top of the Mulacen, the highest peak of the Sierra Nevada. That of course I couldn't do with my bike so I let it in a refugee and went on by foot. Finally at 10pm just after a magnificent sunset I was on the top. I still wanted to go down a bit to sleep under the stars with my sleeping bag. So I went down and finally at 1am I could rest what was left of my body. The place I slept was totally uncomfortable and I hadn't any mattress as I had to take as less as possible with me. I drank over 7 litters of water that day and the day after I was not sure if I will be able to walk but I'm still walking now so I think it's ok ;)
