Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the past, I’ve always traveled by staying with relatives, friends and friends of friends, and I've found there is no better way to grow, evolve and open your horizons than by meeting and exchanging with people who have a significantly different upbringing and perspective on life.

I am deeply interested in connecting with open individuals who are curious about others and the world around them, and not into simply exchanging dormitories.

Music: Mixed bag of genres, from classical music with Johan Strauss and Franz Liszt, to jazz, blues, classic rock and folk!

Movies: La Vita E Bella, Un Dîner de con, and Le Fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulin are three of my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mountain race up and down the highest mountains in Eastern Canada, the Chic Chocs in Gaspésie National Park. 1.5km of elevation over 22km of running. Hardest run of my life!

Ran along a deserted Great Wall of China on a sunny winter afternoon near Inner Mongolia.

Solo trip in Zion National Park, hiking the canyons during the day, and sleeping under the stars at night.

I am a half-decent chef in the kitchen, and my skills are always sharpened by the presence of guests at my dinner table. I'm always down to share a meal!
