ABOUT ME

I'm a 28 years old Brazilian guy living in Belo Horizonte. I'm always happy, I like laughing at everything and making jokes all the time. I've lived in Finland for 1 year doing exchange studies and I loved every minute of that.
I love rock and roll, listening, playing the guitar, going to concerts, reading about it! I have a rock band back in Brazil, I enjoy a lot gigging with them :) I'm totally addicted to football. Cruzeiro is my life, I love going to Mineirão watch my team playing and destroying it's opponents. I also like playing it myself, I play every monday and saturday with my friends! Another thing I enjoy doing is hanging out with my friends, going to bars, playing boardgames

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like everything involving CS. My favorite activities are the meetings/gatherings in my home city and in the cities I visit. In Belo Horizonte every week we meet to drink, talk and have fun. And after the meetings we always go to some nice place to finish the night! Besides that we always make something, like parties, watching movies, food making and other stuff. I like hosting and especially showing my city to travelers. And surfing is also good, most by the fact of knowing people that actually live in the city I'm visiting, so they can show me nice places and share they lifestories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In my home city I go almost every friday to our weekly meeting, and I also organized an Thursday English Meeting. I've also been part of the organization team of two Belo Horizonte Regional Meetings, where people all over the country came to my city to have fun for many days.
When I was living/traveling in Europe for 1 year I tried to go to CS meetings in every city I visit for meeting cool people and natives.
When I travelled to Sao Paulo I went with my host Frix to a very good night club (he was friend of some managers and we entered for free). It was awesome, a great night!I went camping in Tabuleiro-MG with people from my city, it was reeeealy nice! We had a lot of fun together! All parties and meetings every week in Belo Horizonte are nice! We always have funny conversations and drink a lot!I met a lot of cool people through CS, some of them are actually my friends now, all thanks to CS!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I like many movies, is hard to choose one... I like comedy, action, sci-fi, thriller, but I can watch all kinds of movies, I just dislike those romantic comedies.Books: My favorite author is Luís Fernando Veríssimo, I love all his books that I've read! I love reading about rock and roll and it's history, i've read a couple of nice books about it, and a lot of texts, biographies, magazines and articles. Also fantasy and RPG books.Music: Basically all kinds of "Rock and roll". Also Classical Music, lately I've been listening a lot to some composers, like Vivaldi, Bach, Beethoven, Strauss, Wagner, and some others. But I like good music in general, so that means that if is played by good musicians, or if it's made with the heart (not with the wallet) I'm gonna at least give it a chance. I like knowing the regional music from everywhere. My favourite bands are AC/DC and Iron Maiden, together with maaany others from different styles!I'm listening more to heavy metal, classic rock, hard rock and classic music at this moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to an AC/DC concert and literally cried! I saw the Northern Lights(Aurora Boreal) in Lapland in the very north of Finland. These two were definitely the best experiences of my life!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can spend hours talking about football and rock and roll, my two favourite subjects! I can tell really nice stories about both of them. But I like talking and learning about everything. I really enjoy learning about the history of the places I visit, hearing about the lifestories of the new people I meet!
