Love traveling and I love sports. Lived in Barcelona for 4 years, studied, worked and fell in love with the culture there (it's very different from the German culture, probably that's why I like it so much).
When traveling I like to see places by foot, bicycle, longboard, basically anything except public transport. I'm an avid photographer and you just see a lot more when walking everywhere instead of being stuck in a train or bus.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We had a Couchsurfer in Barcelona for a couple of days and I showed him around the city...that's how I found out about Couchsurfing. It was a great experience because I could show him around and he got to see the city off the beaten path of tourist busses & commercial guides.

a year and a half ago I discovered a very physical style of yoga, which I always thought of as easy and just about stretching. I was surprised how intensive it was, even though I'm in top shape. Ever since then I keep learning more and more and practice several times a week. I even thought about becoming a yoga teacher, because they get to travel a lot and see the world, meet people and are generally very content...a pending project still!
Work wise, I'm an IT/techie guy and work for Apple. Can fix or explain about anything that has an LCD display 8-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

very easy going and not at all "high maintenance"...I'm not a great cook, though. Also, if you have an iPhone, iPad or Mac, I can fix it;)
