CURRENT MISSION
After I travelled the world with my brother daily grind is back.
Getting some couchsurfers on my couch and keep on travelling as much as possible.

ABOUT ME
I try to be always in a good mood and I'm uncomplicated.
I like hiking, bicycling and I do lots of sports, recently athletics.
I would say I'm very open minded, sociable, a bit crazy but rather normal. ;-)

PHILOSOPHY
Don't think too much. You could create problems, which didn't exist before.

In the past I was rather surfing than hosting. I would like to share my travelling experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Throughout good experiences. Friendly, helpful and hospitable people all around the world.
Instead of staying at a hostel you're able to see how people in different countrieslive.

Intereses

I like history, especially since 1850. This again matches up with my biggest hobby genealogy.
I also enjoy hiking and cycling in the nature.
Nice and cozy evenings with friends.
And of course traveling. Because traveling combines lots of good things. Meeting new people, see lots of beautiful spots, learn about other cultures and to learn other languages.
... and of course to taste lots of different food.

I fairly like every kind of music. It depends on my mood.
Usually I prefer the sounds of the 80's and 90's
You can call me Al from Paul Simon, a great song!!!

I'm not watching much TV or movies. But whenever I watch, I like comedy films or documentaries.
The Naked Gun or The Beverly Hills Cop are one of my favourite movies. An other great one is The Big Lebowski.

Algo increíble que he hecho

It was a absolutely new experience to live completely on my own, when I was almost 6 months in Costa Rica in 2009. Doing hard work a whole day and coming together with people whose language I wasn't able to speak.
And the 8 month world tour with my brother in 2016. Awesome!!!!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

It's great to learn about other cultures and languages.
I can teach you a little about the biota of Central Europe, or tell you some of the german history.
And let's share our traveling experiences.
