About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting back on the road!

ABOUT ME

I'm an open-minded, thoughtful and positive human being who likes to read, travel, play tennis and climb mountains. I love philosophy and the beautiful streams of thoughts of all the diversity of this wonderful world.

PHILOSOPHY

"Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
― Mark Twain

“It is not that we have so little time but that we lose so much. ... The life we receive is not short but we make it so; we are not ill provided but use what we have wastefully.”

― Seneca, On the Shortness of Life

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting and surfing around the world

“What is that feeling when you're driving away from people and they recede on the plain till you see their specks dispersing? - it's the too-huge world vaulting us, and it's good-bye. But we lean forward to the next crazy venture beneath the skies.”
― Jack Kerouac, On the Road: The Original Scroll

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Fantastic times with crazy party people during NYE in London, beautiful summer days with wonderful Swedes, amazing adventures with Americans on the road

Interests

I like to play tennis outside on a red-clay court on a hot day with my best friend. I like to climb up mountains and look down at the valley once I'm up. I enjoy to be driving around in a pick-up truck in the Mid-West of the USA, listening to country music. To be swimming in a cold but clean Swedish lake, to party in Berlin on a clear, summer-night, to eat ice-cream outside in Florence watching people passing by, to take pictures of the chaotic yet peaceful city of Istanbul, to be dancing to Franz Ferdiannd with thousands of happy people during a festival. To be at home and sit in our beautiful garden with good company, talking about unimportant things :-)
