ABOUT ME

I'm Philipp, 31 years old and I just came back from my trip around the world. The year was awesome and these are some places I visit during my trip: London-New York-Montreal-Rocky Mountains-Vancouver Island-US Westcoast-Hawaii-Fiji-New Zealand-Australia-Singapore-Philippines-Vietnam-Thailand-Hong Kong-Amsterdam, Tallinn, Riga and Prague.

In New Zealand I worked as a Bartender and Kitesurfing Instructor for three months. I made my Instructor and Lifeguard license last year. Friends say, that I'm an open minded guy who loves to meet new people. And with those I can drink alcohol, but don't have to. ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a member of the emergency couch group in Hamburg and hosted many surfers during 2011. During my worldtrip I met many nice people from couchsurfing, all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

From April 2011 on I hosted more than 14 couchsurfer from all over the world and from other cities in Germany in my apartment in Hamburg downtown. I really got in love with that system. So I decided to get a verified member, to support CS and to explore the world and this system from the other side - as a surfer.

Interests

In Sports I like to go Kitesurfing, Sailing and Skiing.
Of course I really love to travel. I'm sure that CS enables to explore the world and their humans more simply.

I don't read a lot. I'm an active person with too much power. ;-)
My favorite movie is called "Lammbock" (a german production). It's with my favorite actor "Moritz Bleibtreu".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Puuuh, there are so many things due to my worldtrip. To drive by jet-ski through the canyons in Arizona, the Yankees-Game in New York, surfing on Hawaii, talking to the headman of 28 Fiji-Islands, meeting a Grizzly in the Rocky Mountains in Canada, etc...
There are enough nice and interesting stories to fill a whole week. ;-)
