I am a Project Manager at a financial company. Sounds boring? I sort of think it is too, which is why when I have any free time, I look to get out of the cube and experience as much of our world as possible. I am always wanting to challenge myself, and want to grow and be a better person at the end of every day.

Right now I'm working to gain the economic freedom to do my own thing. I've always been in love with nature and our connection with it. In a few years I plan on starting a business with my engineer brother doing "green" construction. I am all about that sustainability.

I love to cook. I cook just about every meal of every day. The quality ranges from plain chicken to something more exotic depending on my mood and how much time I have.

Outside of work, I stay active in sports or doing volunteer work in Detroit, the city grew up in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to explore new places and do new things. Couch surfing has been a way for me to find a guide in my travels, and through these contacts, an opportunity to learn. Whether someone is willing to climb a mountain with me, or share a meal and some good stories, these moments are very important and make something simple into something extraordinary.
