Overview
About Me
I'm driven by curiosity, and I love to explore. Whether that’s learning to Bachata on New Year’s Eve in Chile, or volcano-boarding in Nicaragua. I’m travel-hungry, beer-thirsty, and ready to party. I want to run with the bulls, motor cycle India to the Himalayas, and climb the highest summits of the world. I haven't been everywhere, but its on my list.
I love to go backpacking, and after spending nights completely soaked in a sleeping bag I’d say I pretty much comfortable with sleeping anywhere. Also days of eating dehydrated food, means I’m not a picky eater. I’m not a vegetarian, but I’ll always down with the veggies.
Through a program called AFS, I've hosted students at my family's house from all over the world(Denmark, Indonesia, Thailand, Germany), which has given me the opportunity to discover cultures. I've traveled a little bit myself outside the US, (Nicaragua, Peru, Mexico, and Chile) as well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of making friends across the world, and experiencing the places I want to see through their eyes. Staying in someones home and sharing adventures is an amazing opportunity!
Interests
Outdoor Shenanigans! I love to rock climb, ski, sail, snorkel, cycle, mountain bike, hike, canoe, and surf.
I'm always down for dancing, even if my moves are more like a full body spasm ;)
I also enjoy painting, drawing, cooking, and just sharing a story over a beer.
I've played both the piano and trumpet for 8 years, and just introduced myself to the guitar(don't be expecting a Jimmy Hendricks)
I study physics, but I won't elaborate too much there.

Movies: The Great Escape, Oceans 11, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventures, Intouchables, etc
Books: Harry Potter, Eragon, Watership Down, The invisible Man
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volcano Boarded a couple thousand feet into the Nicaraguan Sunset!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I know some pretty dope magic tricks ;) Otherwise I can answer most Physics related questions, and if you're not into that we can just drink a couple bottles of wine(on me of course) and share stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Pretty much the same as above, plus I'll definitely clean the kitchen and anything else you might need help with. I could also try to cook for you, but maybe me buying you dinner is a better option :)
