I graduated college and without any direction I decided to continue becoming a tennis coach and personal assisting. I believe in helping others grow and brining a group together and striving towards a common goal; friendship, life skills, and memories. Since then I decided to give a try in the restaurant business. It is easy to throw your money around as a customer and complain about your food or however long it is taking but I wanted to learn how the restaurant functions inside and out and have been serving and bar tending for nearly 8 months and it has been one of the most rewarding things being able to interact with customers not to sell food to them but to provide them an experience that transforms them from the outside world, and their problems, to a place where the food, atmosphere, and service allow them to forget all their troubles for a little and just enjoy life!

Now I am trying to take my first vacation since joining the restaurant, and am thinking about traveling to a friend’s wedding in Nova Scotia and then onto Ireland to visiting my sister who is studying abroad and then onto Spain to visit friends from when I studied abroad in the Netherlands in Fall 2016.

The farthest west I have ever been is Japan for an independent research project, and looking forward to being in the southern hemisphere for the first time. In my search of flights the offer presented itself to have a stop over in New Zealand which I have always wanted to go it is the perfect situation going to Australia and New Zealand in the same trip! I will be in Wellington for 2.5 days and Queenstown for 3.5 days both of which were highly recommended by friends and family that have been.

I am only young once with no string-attached, so why not live life to the fullest in the present. I am open-minded, love children have worked at the daycare I used to go to as a kid for 3 summers and currently coach and teach tennis to children and adults from beginner to advanced. I love all sports playing tennis in college and numerous sports in high school.

I am very easy going and do not need much just a roof over my head and genuine people to share stories and experiences. I have traveled enough to know that the locals know best!!! I went to Istanbul, Turkey with my sister and my mother who is an art history professor in college. I did not know what the expect, however I was up for the new experience. Once I got there it was a magical place where the east met the west nowhere else that I had visited had I seen such diversity all in one place. The people and landscape were beautiful and a city with approximately 15 million people flows effortlessly on a daily basis. The food is delicious and the sights and smells as you walk about the city always teleports you to a different world. It is at least a much different world than I am accustom to on the east coast in the United States.
