I am addicted to change, therefore travel features heavily in my life. I tend to live somewhere for a couple of years, exploring the region as much as possible, then moving to another part of the world and starting over.

Absolutely love the couchsurfing idea - love to help people out, probably even slightly more than I love people helping me out.....

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I joined couchsurfing a while back, I've never really used it, because I've always lived in popular tourist spots and the demand from warmshowers and hospitality club was already quite high. As a touring cyclist I've hosted a number of cyclists through warmshowers over the years. Before that I was very active on hospitality club site. My profile name is phillipa on both those sites.

Now that I'm about to move to Russia, I think it's time to switch to couchsurfing.

兴趣

Mountains and bicycles (though not in combination) are my primary focus. The 2 things that excite me the most when I'm travelling are meeting new people and exploring new landscapes. I'm often somewhat ashamed at my lacklustre interest in museums, etc. Must try harder.
